| Merit Badges |
Merit Badge Program
Star, Life and Eagle ranks require the Scout to earn a certain
number of merit badges. Merit badges are awarded to scouts for
fulfilling requirements in specific fields of interest. There
are over 100 merit badges available for a scout to earn.
Required Merit Badges:
Camping
Citizenship in the Community
Citizenship in the Nation
Citizenship in the World
Communications
Environmental Science
Family Life
First Aid
Personal Fitness
Personal Management
Emergency Prep/Lifesaving
Swimming/Hiking/Cycling
All other badges are optional and a scout may earn as many of these
elective badges to compliment the required ones to fulfill a rank
requirement.
