Committee Needs Adults: 

One of the great things about our scouts is that they are very active.  For the most part they seek out opportunities and advancement.  Because of this, adult leadership is needed for merit badge counseling, Board of Review participation, and other duties.  Of course, we can give you all the information that you will need to do any of this.  BSA has excellent guidance that you can also use.
          
             What do you need to do?  First thing is to get the training/background checks done to be able to participate.  This is probably the biggest obstacle for some, but Fred Gamache has prepared a great guide ( http://www.bstroop137.com/training.asp ).  Next, attend a committee meeting (every third Monday at 7 PM at St Joe's) or talk to Fred or me  about what you want to do or what is needed.
