Fundraisers

Overview

Scouting trips occur every month and can run as high as $45 a trip and summer camp can set you back about $250. You can pay for these trips by participating in FUNDRAISING!

Each scout has a savings account set up in his name in the troop. The troop committee treasurer keeps track of each account. The Scout gets money deposited by participating in the fundraisers. The Scout can then use this money to pay for trips.

Typical Fundraisers:

Christmas Wreath Sale

Pizza Sale

Scouts may sell item individually to friend and family. The Boy Scouts do not recommend door to door selling. Troop does set up booths at various locations. Scout participating in a booth sales split the proceeds.
