Fundraisers |
Overview
Scouting trips occur every month and can run as high as $45 a trip
and summer camp can set you back about $250. You can pay for these
trips by participating in FUNDRAISING!
Each scout has a savings account set up in his name in the troop.
The troop committee treasurer keeps track of each account. The
Scout gets money deposited by participating in the fundraisers.
The Scout can then use this money to pay for trips.
Typical Fundraisers:
Fall Popcorn Sale
Christmas Wreath Sale
Pizza Sale
Scouts may sell item individually to friend and family. The Boy Scouts
do not recommend door to door selling. Troop does set up booths at
various locations. Scout participating in a booth sales split the
proceeds.
