Shoprite Fundraiser

posted Sep 13, 2016, 5:30 AM by Doug Schaefer
Parents, the troop is in need of a volunteer to take over our Shoprite fundraiser. The parent who has been running it for the past few years has stepped down since her son has aged out of the troop.

This is our easiest fundraiser; Families who shop at Shoprite, save their receipts and send them in with their scout, who drops the receipts into a designated shoebox. When the box is full, the receipts are delivered to Shoprite. At the end of the year the troop receives a check for 1% of the grand total of all the receipts collected. We just need a volunteer to deliver the receipts to the store. Please let me know if you're interested and I'll put you in touch with the parent who has been running it for more info.

- You do NOT have to complete ANY of the child protection training or background checks.
- You do NOT have to wear a uniform
- You do NOT have to attend any of the troop or committee meetings (your scout will bring the receipts home)

If you can't volunteer, then this e-mail will serve as a reminder to save your Shoprite receipts and send them in with your Scout.

Thanks,

Doug Schaefer
